Drones are the latest fad and there’s a reason for that – they’re simply awesome! When they became public about a year ago then most people were afraid of these and they were slightly overpriced, but now the prices have fallen a lot and anybody can afford a drone!
We’re reviewing these drones based on different qualities such as build, durability, design, flight distance, flying time and user experience. We’ll cover some budget drones, drones for kids and best camera drones. So there’s surely something for everybody!
Top Cheap Drones
We’ll start off with this sharp looking Hubsan X4 which is an amazing budget deal for people who are looking to get into buying their first drone. It comes with latest 6-axis flight control system with adjustable gyro sensitivity. It’s also equipped with a whopping 0.3mpx camera, but you will need a SD card to use it.
The quality obviously won’t be on the same level as Hollywood’s flashy frame shots are, but you will experience recording through air none the less. And under 50 bucks it’s almost a steal. Having over 1,650 reviews from Amazon it scores a 4/5 rating so no massive problems.
Honestly, if you’re looking to get a lightweight and cheap drone to play with, then this is a great choice!
It doesn’t have a camera, but to make up for it, it has 360c over-roll and a one-click return button, which makes things a lot easier. It doesn’t fare too well against strong wind, but it’s more than usable on an average weather.
Simply put it does everything a simple drone is supposed to do and it does it in a great fashion!
Unlike other budget drones, this one also has a slick design, durable frame and some cool features such as a headless security system that makes it easier to use for any user, despite their previous experience. It goes a solid distance of about 30-50 meters and fares well against wind. It’s a tad bit more expensive than the other budget drones, but it’s surely worth it!
Not to mention that Holy Stone provides absolutely phenomenal customer support to all it’s products. Can’t go wrong with this one!

It has phenomenal feedback all over the internet, features great quality camera, GPS assisted flight features and it even comes with additional propellers and a SD card. You can elso take 12Mpix photos with the drone and all in all make it a very practical deal. There really aren’t any cons here as it’s highly regarded as one of the best in it’s price range.

SYMA has been in the game for a while now and their products in general get great feedback, this one is no exception boasting a 4/5 star rating from over 3800 users! It comes with a proper camera, can do 360–flip and goes well against wind. The biggest con here is the short flight time, this particular model has only 7 minutes of flight time. But considering it’s general features, build quality, durability and price it’s definitely a stunner deal!
