If you’re anything like me then you absolutely love music and couldn’t imagine life without the wonderful tunes of music. But have you noticed how easy it is to lose a pair of earphones? And how hard it is to find actually suitable earphones that would fit your ear, not fall out or just break down only in few weeks?
I’m particularly good at losing my earphones so I must’ve had like 50 pairs in my lifetime! And I’ve had earphones in ALL kind of price ranges, starting from $2 earphones up to $800 earphones. And let me tell you, the difference used to be HUGE few years ago, but not anymore.
I’ve ordered no-name brands off different Chinese manufacturers and in matter of fact I’m using a $12 pair earphones right now, these have seriously amazing sound quality, feel comfortable and imagine this, I even managed to drop one of the earbuds to a cup of hot coffee?! And they still work! Whoa! I was shocked. Easily the best $12 I’ve spent. Ever.
Easily the best $12 I’ve spent. Ever.
What makes earphonesin general really, really good?
More often than not we don’t even pay attention to the small details, like whether will our ears start hurting after listening to music for hours, how many times do the earbuds fall out and so on. But to be quite frank with you, then there’s no reason at all why you should make compromises on quality. Earphones are affordable nowadays and this is why we have this carefully made review list of the best earphones on the market that provide the best bang for your buck.
So I decided to educate you all audiophiles out there with a very good premise: you don’t have to spend a premium, you can save thousands of dollars in your lifetime by acquiring these underrated and overlooked models. No hype, no product endorsement, this is 100% honest review.
For this review, we will be rating the products based on the following qualities: sound quality, durability, pricing and comfort.
8 Best Cheap Earphones Under 25 Dollars
Let’s start the list off with the beautiful SoundPEATS earphones, these guys have focused on getting their product to being as lightweight as humanly possible (just 0.45 ounces!) and have a very satisfied customer base. They have absolutely raving reviews and hold an almost flawless rating for a good reason. The sound quality? It’s not the best out there, but it’s still really good. The build quality? Superb. They even implement superior ambient noise isolation for an even better audio experience. The only con side is that the bass can be rather low compared to some of the competitors.
Definitely worth it to check them out at that price!
Note of caution: these are not 100% noise cancelling earphones.
Next up is the successor of a commercial success, the RP-HJE120-K’s younger brother. The 125-K. This is the sort of pair you see in Walmarts and in smaller malls, these are dirt cheap, they look kinda ok, they sound kinda ok and in theory work just fine.
Unfortunately, this model doesn’t exactly boast with strong build or durability in this matter, they can break down pretty easy, but for this price, you can’t complain. Panasonic happens to be the best-known brand on this list, but we wouldn’t recommend this model unless you didn’t have other options.
I use a different model from KZ on a daily basis and I have to say that I’m absolutely shocked that this brand is so unknown. These guys are the real deal, they have by far the most long lasting and better-sounding earphones on the market, today. Also at very good prices, you can grab two pairs under 25 dollars! The KZ ED9 Silver Tuning Nozzles features new vibrant PEK diaphragm, has purer vocals and dynamic textured bass. The quality is great.
The only con side is that they weight weirdly a lot and may fall out of your ear sometimes, but you will get used to it.
cheap earphones with mic
Looking for durable earphones that come with a microphone? Need to use it as a headset? Then this product is the perfect solution for you! The first thing you’ll notice is that it’s built with aluminium foil as the cable and it feels a lot stronger than the regular cable. Secondly, the unique design of the earbuds allows you to listen to music for days in a row without having to worry about your ears starting to hurt.
They are not 100% noise cancelling, but they do block most of the noise so for the current price this deal is a complete steal! It’s also worthy of mentioning that the design looks sick and they have almost flawless feedback score.
You might’ve not heard off Xiaomi yet, but they are the biggest upcoming tech giant from Asia right now, they provide a slick design with a functional build much like Apple products, but with just a fraction of a cost. Xiaomi is known for their flagship phones, but these earphones are also one of their most loved products. The sound quality? Crystal clear. The earphones build? Rock solid. Honestly, you can’t go wrong with this pair.
The KZ ED Special Edition Classic is the exact model I’m wearing right now and let me tell you: this is the product that changed my life when thinking about whether cheap equals bad quality. It doesn’t. It’s just marketed differently. Much like sneakers, the product cost is almost identical, while the sale prices range from $10 to $500 on average. Not going to lie the golden touch looks pretty classy, also.
Now much like the KZ ED above, this pair does feel a little bit heavy and it might get uncomfortable eventually and they don’t really stay in your ear when you go jogging but that’s about the only con this model has.
cheap noise cancelling earphones
The best noise cancelling earphones on the market are by far the KZ SZT. KZ has an impressive track record of producing complete winners in the earphones category and just blows my mind that they’re relatively unknown. This model features latest cattle products, sports dynamic in-ear headphones. Unique patented tuning technology design, micro-8MM dynamic unit and a rock solid build in general.
Sweet design and will last for a long time to go! Also one of the best choices for the bass lovers.
Last but not least, the runner-up for best noise cancelling earphones is the Kinbashi Premium model. They are affordable, soft, comfortable and sound good. They don’t claim to be the best in any category and you have to realise that these are still budget earphones, but honestly, this will beat your regular $10 Walmart earphones by 100x. A lot of loyal fans recommending this product, great feedback and all in all a solid product with a microphone and noise cancellation.
